Leechfeast & Meth Drinker - Split 12''

Barulho pesado e arrastado, Recém lançado trabalho da eslovena Leechfeast e da Meth Drinker, vinda da Nova Zelândia, através do selo Dry Cough, e outros.

Dry Cough Records is most pleased to team up with the excellent Raw Birth Records to bring you this new split from two of the best bands currently peddling grimy, disease-ridden punk-influenced sludge/doom (along with the UK's Moloch, and Germany's Nightslug - two other bands with an impending releases on Dry Cough!). This EP features one track each from Slovenia's Leechfeast, and New Zealand's Meth Drinker. 

Leechfeast may not be quite as well known as their Antipodean counterparts, but they're just as revoltingly brilliant. This track has more of a mournful, murky doom-like feel to it than much of their previous output; but this is definitely not a band thing. They're still as dark and disturbing as ever. 

The flip side features another chunk of seething, ugly sludge from down-under. Painfully slow, bass-heavy, piercing feedback, miserable-as-fuck lyrics, vomited vocals, this is classic Meth Drinker so rejoice. 

This is due for release towards the end of April, in plenty of time for Meth Drinker's European tour, a handful of dates of which will be with Leechfeast.

Hellcrawler - Wastelands

uhhhhhhhh!!! desde la lejana ciudad de liubliana, capital de eslovenia en el [l]este europeu, les presentó hellcrawler, una banda de la puta madre, que mescla en sus ruídos, de manera perfecta y muy armoniosa, death, crust, tonos stoner y d-beat, el resultado és un sonido increíblemente brutal y apocalíptico, el camino ideal para la completa destruccion de ese mundo podrido, sacado en 2011 por hollow earth records, de hecho, quiero darles las muchas gracias  por el envio del disco y compartir con nosotros su material hacendo su trabajo re-conocido en otros cantos, muy diferente de una gran cuantidad de sellos y grabadoras mercenarias que encuentran en la musica y cultura punk una fuente sin fin de lucros [y beneficios].

"Dwelling among the debris of the whore capital of Western Slovenia, Hellcrawler are a bunch of cynical wasteland denizens who found unsavory panacea in the symbiosis of punk violence, stoner rock atmosphere and heavy riffage. Their soundtrack to the demise of humankind is a motorized assault of old school death metal and d-beat which reflects their major source of inspiration, the decaying aesthetic of post apocalyptic and spaghetti western cinematography. Beginning in 2010, the outfit saw their first release, Wastelands, in 2011 on Hollow Earth Records."
